I’ve been getting a lot of nifty mysteries and related items in here lately. Here’s a quick rundown.
Travis takes a look at the next issue of Cerebus, number 8, which features the Conniptins and their ideals. Fight! Fight! Fight!
The first indie comic I ever read is a short-lived series called Ismet. It’s very obscure, but I came across it at the tender age of 12 because a few years before that, I had met the guy who would go on to create it, Greg Wadsworth.
Illness smacked down Travis briefly, but 365 Days of Cerebus is back, just like Elrod is back in issue 7 of Cerebus, causing trouble.
Like most of you, I have a platonic ideal of certain characters that I carry around in my head. And a lot of times, it has to do with who I saw play a particular part when I was at an impressionable age. I’ve had a few of them bouncing around in my head this week, so I thought I’d share.
365 Days of Cerebus continues with Cerebus 6, the introduction of Jaka, the love of Cerebus’s life. In this issue we find the definition of love, too!
Travis introduces a new feature, Sunday Morning, with a miscellany of stuff found around the internet that you may find interesting. YMMV.
