I think I have to wait another week.

“part two of the comical mockumentary “Team Thor,””

    Where was part 1 again?

Sadly I will not get to see any of that stuff, because I’m poor and don’t have a Blu-Ray player and cannot get one that will work with my current TV. I’d need to buy a whole new TV, and a VCR / B-Ray player combo (since the B-Ray will play regular DVDs), and I just don’t have that kind of money. Why these companies feel the need to screw over the poor people by not giving us anything (not just the extras on movies like this, but you cannot get the Netflix DAREDEVIL series on normal DVD at all in the United States – only in the UK and overseas; in the U.S. it’s B-Ray only) is beyond my comprehension.

I guess they just don’t want my money. *shrugs*

    1. If it’s any consolation, (a) most of the bonus material on these disks is basically filler, and (b) almost all of it ends up on YouTube within a couple weeks of release. A lot of it was already posted before the disk came out, so that people like me could embed it in posts like this.

I’ve just watched the featurettes, and a couple of things stood out to me:

I love the Marvel movies, I really do, but when they caught somebody saying “We at Marvel don’t want to repeat ourselves”, I lol’d.

The director was wearing an A Saucerful Of Secrets t-shirt… and they blurred it out. The album cover (notoriously?) has Doctor Strange (and the Living Tribunal) right there on the cover, and they blurred it out! (You wouldn’t have seen him or anything; I can barely see him when I look at the CD cover, but he’s there.)
