A pause in the reminiscence about DC Comics… to tell you about a newly-published story of mine that DC inspired. Kinda.
Man, Comico was an awesome company for a brief time, wasn’t it?
This used to be one of the most tantalizing itches that I wasn’t able to scratch for the longest time. I knew about the Star Hawks newspaper strip for decades, but only managed to read it once I got a hold of the gigantic complete collection book.
As many comics fans and professionals alike are speculating about the latest DC Implosion, and WHAT IT ALL MEANS, I got to reminiscing about the comics publisher that literally shaped the course of my life.
