The Savage Land is in Antarctica, right?

So, the obvious question that we’ve all been asking is, has anybody ever read a Savage Land comic actually in Antarctica?

I can now definitively answer this question of the ages:

Yes.

The X-Men nearly fall off a ship.

Here it is, actually on the continent.
It’s me. You know I had to use Alpha Flight.

I have to ask what brought you to Antartica? I seem to get inspiration from the worst places, and have wanted to visit ever since I first watched Carpenter’s version of The Thing.

      what brought you to Antartica?

      It was a ship.

Though I managed to re-watch The Thing the same day I paid off the trip – and it was a total coincidence. (It was playing on a Hallowe’en replay at a local cinema.)

          😀
You can just book a cruise there. It was the last continent I’d never been to, so I decided to fix that.

If anything, The Thing might make me stay away. (OTOH, who wants to live forever?)

I’d like to spend some real time in Europe (and Asia), but that’s for later.
(I’ve probably spent less than a week in the two of them combined, and that’s not even consecutive.)
