Fraser was born in England, but spent most of his life in the Florida Panhandle. He'd be there still if he hadn't met his dream woman and moved to Durham NC to marry her. In between writing fantasy short stories and film reference books, he reads, watches movies and cooks. He blogs more frequently at frasersherman.wordpress.com
I never tire from looking at Bronze Age horror covers, especially this vintage as their ‘batting average’ ranks with the very highest among covers: e.g. EC by Wood, Craig, Williamson & co.
I have the ‘spider’ back issue; sold the WH #2 Cardy; probably not the ‘bed’ as I don’t have many early Orlando HoM since they tend to be expensive.
My Silver Age reread has confirmed that I don’t like the stories any better than I did at the time, but God the covers are amazing. Given Cardy’s work on Aquaman and Teen Titans is so different, I’m more surprised by his great horror covers than Adams’s.
