I’m actually totally fine with social justice when it comes to fandom. We could use some more of it.
We get a LOT of press releases and requests to review stuff. Most of them we just can’t get to… but here are a couple of cool projects we really do think you ought to be aware of.
When I was first starting to write, back in my teens, I dreamed of turning pro. Now a couple of my students have done it and I could not be prouder.
A question that came up several times after last week’s tale of stepping away from OCD collector mania was, “Yes, but clearly you still COLLECT things, right?”
Well… yes and no.
This is an internal conflict I’ve struggled with for years: the OCD collector versus the actual entertainment consumer.
