MOTHER. FUCKER!!!!!
This has been your Sports Wrap-Up for Tuesday, 14 May 2019.
(Kawhi totally traveled right when he caught the ball, by the way. He took three steps before dribbling. THE NBA IS FIXED, SHEEPLE!!!!!)
Before reading it on your page, I noted the travel.
Roger: I was being a bit facetious, because there’s no way they call that and it was so fast I doubt anyone could see it anyway, but he still traveled!!!!! 🙂
Even though I’m Canadian and not a Raptors fan, it’s nice that Toronto gets a win like that since ALL of the 3 canadian teams were booted out of the Stanley Cup series (including my town and Toronto Maple Leafs)
Gotta take our wins when we can get it, eh? 😉
Tom: I’m not that bent out of shape about it – I didn’t think the Sixers were going to win the series, much less the championship, anyway, and I don’t really have a big problem with the Raptors. The WAY it happened, though, was so gut-wrenching. Oh well. I’d actually rather have a Canadian team win the Stanley Cup. You guys are just so sad whenever the last Canadian team loses a playoff series! 🙁
Let’s see… Philly’s got an (almost) freshly minted Super Bowl in its hip pocket, top spot in the NL East (and the $330 million man), not to mention LeBron and alleged traveller-in-chief Kawhi seemingly waiting in the wings to join the Sixers…
With that in mind, let’s allow The Big Smoke (that would be Toronto, folks) to have its moment in the sun before the Bucks unceremoniously boot them from the playoffs, okay?
fit2print: Well, I wouldn’t want LeBron and I very much doubt if Kawhi would come here (nor do I think they could pay him), but I think the 76ers are in good shape going forward. It was just such a knife in the stomach! 🙂
