I’m curious about the inclusion of the Don Quixote image. Was he having a moment in 1971?
The movie version of Man of La Mancha was out around that time frame; I think. Might have been more the idea of moral codes and tilting at windmills, in regards to the peace movement.

You’ve jogged my memory, Jeff. Monty Python’s contemporary Dinsdale Brothers sketch, a Kray twins parody, had an aside about an undercover cop playing stage/film roles including Man of La Mancha!
